STARTING A CHURCH IN THE AGE OF COVID - A VIRTUAL EVENT

The Covid-19 virus has created an air of uncertainty for many, including those called to start a new church. As if it wasn’t hard enough, planters face the additional challenge of reaching people in the age of ‘social distancing’.

Interactive sessions with breakout rooms to discuss learnings & next steps

Topics Include:

o  The ‘next normal’ in reaching people

o  How to tell your story

o  Raising money

o  Develop launch timeline

o  Critical mass revisited

o  Managing opposition

o  Cultivating connections

o  Create community

PLUS, TWO FREE OPTIONAL OFFERS:

·      Happy Hour: Each Monday night Jim & Kim will host a 60-minute ‘casual’ discussion around church planting.

·      Office Hours: Each Monday & Tuesday, from 1:00 – 4:00, Jim & Kim will be available for private consultations (50 minutes in length). This is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Required Reading: “Ten Most Common Mistakes Made by New Church Starts” by Bill Easum and Jim Griffith

Veteran church planters, trainers, and coaches, they know what it takes to move young churches through the early perils of survival to moving forward to the next levels of growth.

Format: Participants will view the ‘live’ presentations and attend breakout rooms for discussions and working on action steps.

Cancellation Policy. If you cannot attend a Griffith Coaching event for which you are registered, you must cancel no later than two (2) weeks prior to the course date to receive a full refund. If you cancel less than two (2) weeks before the course start date, you will not receive a refund.
